Is Your MLM Upline Full of Vipers?

You need to make it a point to know who your upline is.  I just spoke with a lady last night on a 3-way phone call.  She was the first woman in this network marketing company who built so quickly that she went to the top of the payplan in 4 months.

Her upline was envious and jealous. And part of her network marketing strategy was NOT to read the company Policies & Procedures. Bad, bad combination.

Two Words that Scream “SCAM”…

Word #1:  Probably the biggest scam ever run on people in MLM/network marketing is the powerline.

The worst thing you can ever do building your business is to create fear of loss. It’s the worst way to build your business.  Oh, yes, it definitely works – to get people in.  But you have a totally false business because you’ve got a bunch of people who joined you expecting to sit back and collect a check.

When A Leader Falls…

When a great leader falls because of a lack of integrity, it is very painful for all involved. Tearing another person down to build yourself up, only leads to a false impression of yourself.

When someone is tearing others down in front of You this is a guarantee they will do the same to You behind Your back. Ultimately you will crash and burn from your lack of character.

The question is:

Sales vs. Relationships

Do you think network marketing is a numbers game?  Do you see people as numbers?  While I do understand the perspective that the more people you talk to, the more sales you make (hypothetically), people are not numbers.

Thanks to those of you who sent in comments while I was away.  Some life issues got in the way for a while there but I am back on and working towards my dreams.  My team is growing and I’m certain that freedom is just on the horizon.
